I graduated in 2015 with a Masters of Science in Environmental Policy from the Bard Center for Environmental Policy in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York in New York’s Hudson Valley. I wrote my masters thesis is on crude oil by rail safety issues. The Bard CEP is a science-based, interdisciplinary masters program that combines a rigorous mix of quantitative and qualitative skills with experience-based learning and research training.
I have been interested in environmental issues specifically since 2007 when I held an internship with Environment America in Washington, DC. Working on the Lieberman- Warner America’s Climate Security Act of 2007 bill demonstrated to me the tremendous effort advocates must undertake to create change.
In my free time I like enjoy the great outdoors through hiking, backpacking, rock climbing and kayaking. Finally, I play bluegrass and folk music on my guitar, banjo and mandolin. Proud Dad of the best dog in the world.
